Singapore is a foodie's heaven where food can be had right from hawker centres to upscale restaurants. But there are some interesting dishes that exclusively define Singapore in the form of local cuisine. For some exciting local food recommendations in Singapore, our star user, Lester has picked out his favourites for you. Being a foodie himself, he is hooked on to Anymap as it helps him plot his experiences and share with his friends easily.
Check out his fun and informative map called 'Best Local Food Places in Singapore' map on Anymap. 1. Wong Kee Wanton Noodles
Really yummy wanton mee (you can choose between tomato and spinach noodles) Quite a generous portion of noodles with charsiew and 4 huge and tasty dumplings at just $4.50. Super price worthy.

2. Hui Kee Fishball Noodles
Really one of the best fishball noodles I had. They even have some yongtaufoo's ingredients for you to choose and topped into your noodles!
3. Sungei Road Laksa
The laksa gravy is cooked over charcoal which gave it a very deep flavour. One of the best laksas to try in Singapore.

4. Hoe Nam Prawn Mee
Super thick soup with fresh prawn that will have your taste buds wanting more.
5. Chicken Rice
This is the best chicken rice in my opinion. Can't remember the name of the stall but it's a corner stall and they sell yongtaufoo soup too!
