1. MacRitchie Reservoir Park
MacRitchie Reservoir Places to Run
This is the most popular place for running in Singapore with about 10km of beautiful scenic trails round the reservoir. Shower facilities are also abundantly available if you would like to wash up after your trail run.

2. East Coast Park
East Coast Park Places to Run
At 10km in length from one end to the other, this is Singapore's longest park connector and a great, flat place for running regardless of whether you are a 5km runner or marathoner. There are also plenty of shower facilities here spaced out at regular intervals as well as dining outlets if you wish to shower up and have a quick bite after a run.

3. Marina Bay

A beautiful and picturesque central running location, the Marina Bay area is a beautiful and popular place for runners to do their evening jogs after work. There are scenic view of iconic Singapore landmarks such as the Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands and the Gardens by the Bay here. While there are not much shower facilities, there are plenty of restaurants to dine around the area, as well as ease of public transportation to get home to bathe up after your run.

4. Fort Canning Park

Located close to Orchard Road, Fort Canning Park is a picturesque running area for Singaporeans who want to immerse themselves in a history lesson during their run. Regarding terrain though, it can be fairly challenging, though with plenty of stairs and upslopes during your run.

5. Coney Island

Singapore's newest running destination, Coney Island is beautiful and rustic. Runners who love to get closer to nature can check out the 2km route that winds around Coney Island. And for a longer run, they can run 10km through the Punggol Settlement and the Punggol Waterway Park.

6. Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve Places to Run
Home to 40 per cent of Singapore flora and fauna, the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is one spot for trail runners who are looking to get closer to nature. It is also home to Singapore's tallest hill, the Bukit Timah Hill, which is standing at a height of 163.63 metres high.

7. Bedok Reservoir Park
Bedok Reservoir Park Places to Run
A flat 4.3km route around the reservoir, Bedok Reservoir Park is a great place to run - you will get to admire the picturesque views around the reservoir and at the same time enjoy your cool breezy surroundings. The length of the route is perfect - you can choose either to do a short, speedy run or do several loops of the reservoir in order to clock a longer distance. And after your run, there is a cafe located at the reservoir grounds where you can catch up with your running buddies over a small drink.

8. Southern Ridges
Southern Ridges Places to Run
Comprising of five running locations - the Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Nature Reserve, the Southern Ridges is a beautiful and enjoyable place for a cool and breezy run. And if you wish to challenge yourself a little further, you can always head in the direction of Henderson Waves, which is a bridge linking the Mount Faber Park to the Telok Blangah Park. Though it may require a fair bit of stamina to climb, you will be rewarded with lovely views at the end when you reach the top.
